Method
Preparing the Garlic Chicken

Marinate the Chicken
In a bowl, combine chopped garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch, salt, and pepper. Add the chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces, and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- 2
Cook the Chicken
Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated chicken and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
Preparing the Saimin
- 3
Cook the Noodles
Boil water in a large pot. Add the saimin noodles and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- 4
Stir-Fry the Vegetables
In the same skillet used for the chicken, add 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil. Sauté chopped green onions, grated carrot, and shredded cabbage for about 3-4 minutes until just tender.
- 5
Combine Ingredients
Add the cooked saimin noodles to the skillet with the vegetables. Pour in 2 tablespoons of soy sauce and season with black pepper to taste. Toss everything together and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
- 6
