Method

Cooking the Meat

  1. 1

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon slices until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Flip halfway through to ensure even cooking. Once done, remove from the skillet and place on a paper towel to absorb excess grease.

Preparing the Eggs

  1. 2

    Scramble the Eggs

In a small bowl, crack the 2 eggs and whisk them until well-combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add a touch of butter. Pour in the eggs and continuously stir until they are just set, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.

Making French Toast

  1. 3

    Prepare the Custard

In a shallow dish, whisk together 1 cup of milk, 1 egg, cinnamon, and vanilla extract until fully combined.

  2. 4

    Dip the Bread

Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add 1 tablespoon of butter. Dip each slice of bread into the custard mixture, ensuring both sides are well-coated, then place them in the skillet.

  3. 5

    Cook the French Toast

Cook the bread for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Add more butter to the skillet as needed.

  4. 6

    Serve

Once the French toast is cooked, serve it hot with cooked bacon and scrambled eggs on the side. Drizzle with maple syrup to taste.
