Garlic Aioli

Pickled Onions

Feta Cheese

Sauerkraut

Method

Garlic Aioli

  1. 1

    Prepare the Garlic

Peel and crush the garlic cloves using a garlic press or finely chop them.

  2. 2

    Make the Aioli

In a mixing bowl, whisk the egg yolk, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, and salt until well combined. Slowly drizzle in the vegetable oil while whisking continuously until the mixture thickens and becomes creamy. Fold in the crushed garlic and mix well.

Pickled Onions

  1. 3

    Slice the Onion

Thinly slice the red onion and place it in a clean, heatproof jar.

  2. 4

    Prepare the Pickling Liquid

In a small saucepan, combine the white vinegar, sugar, and salt. Heat over medium heat until the sugar and salt dissolve, then remove from heat.

  3. 5

    Pickle the Onions

Pour the hot pickling liquid over the sliced onions in the jar. Let it cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 1 hour before using.

Feta Cheese

  1. 6

    Prepare the Feta

Crumble the feta cheese into small pieces and set aside for serving.

Sauerkraut

  1. 7

    Serve the Sauerkraut

Open the package of sauerkraut and drain the liquid. Transfer to a serving bowl.
