Preparation

  1. 1

    Cook the Beef

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef for about 5-7 minutes, or until it reaches an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C), breaking it apart with a spatula as it cooks. Once cooked, remove from heat and let it rest.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Mushrooms

In the same skillet, add the sliced mushrooms and sauté over medium heat for about 3-4 minutes until they are golden brown and tender. Remove from heat and set aside.

  3. 3

    Cook the Bacon

In a separate pan, cook the bacon slices over medium heat until crispy. Remove from the pan, let cool slightly, and chop into small pieces.

Assembly

  1. 4

    Toast the Bun

Lightly toast the gourmet hot dog bun in the skillet for about 1-2 minutes until crisp.

  2. 5

    Assemble the Dogzilla

Place the cooked ground beef into the toasted bun. Top with sautéed mushrooms, chopped bacon, shredded cheese, garlic aioli, and sriracha aioli.

  3. 6

    Finish with Toppings

Sprinkle crispy onions, crispy fried garlic, and chopped chives on top of the assembled Dogzilla. Serve immediately.
