Beef Teriyaki
Chicken Choice
Method
Beef Teriyaki Preparation
- 1
Marinate the Beef
In a bowl, combine soy sauce, mirin, brown sugar, minced garlic, grated ginger, and sesame oil. Stir until the sugar is dissolved. Add the beef sirloin, ensuring it's well coated, and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- 2
Cook the Beef
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat and sprinkle with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
Chicken Choice Preparation
- 3
Prepare the Chicken
Cut the chicken breast into thin strips. Set up a breading station with three bowls: one with cornstarch, one with the beaten egg, and one with panko breadcrumbs.
- 4
Bread the Chicken
Dredge each chicken strip in cornstarch, then dip in the egg, and finally coat with panko breadcrumbs. Ensure each piece is well coated.
- 5
Fry the Chicken
In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, fry the breaded chicken strips in batches until golden brown and cooked through, about 4-5 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- 6
Serve with Teriyaki Sauce
Drizzle the fried chicken with teriyaki sauce and sprinkle with sesame seeds for garnish.
