Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. If you prefer Tonkatsu, you can substitute the chicken with pork cutlets. Set aside for marination.
- 2
Prepare the Sashimi
Slice the sashimi into thin pieces. Arrange them neatly on a plate.
Cooking
- 3
Cook the Chicken
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add a tablespoon of oil. Cook the chicken breasts for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. If using Tonkatsu, prepare by breading and frying until crispy.
Serving
- 4
Plate the Dish
Slice the cooked chicken and arrange it on a serving plate. Add the sashimi on the side.
- 5
Add Sauces and Garnishes
Drizzle your choice of sesame, katsu, or teriyaki sauce over the chicken and sashimi. Garnish with chopped green onions and sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
