Method

Preparation of Poke

    Prepare Shoyu Ahi

    Cut the Shoyu Ahi into bite-sized cubes and marinate in a mixture of soy sauce, sesame oil, green onions, and sesame seeds for at least 15 minutes before serving.

    Prepare Hawaiian-Style Ahi

    Cut the Hawaiian-Style Ahi into bite-sized cubes and season with sea salt and a drizzle of sesame oil. Let it sit for about 10 minutes before serving.

    Prepare Spicy Ahi

    Dice the Spicy Ahi into small cubes and mix with sriracha, mayonnaise, and lime juice. Allow to marinate for 15 minutes.

Cooking Rice

    Cook Sushi Rice

    Rinse 1 cup of sushi rice under cold water until the water runs clear. Cook it with 1.2 cups of water in a rice cooker or pot until tender. Once cooked, fluff and keep warm.

Preparing Sides

    Prepare Sweet Potato

    Peel and cut the sweet potato into cubes. Boil in salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes, then drain and serve.

    Mix crab meat with diced avocado, lime juice, and a pinch of salt. Serve chilled.
