Prepare the Chicken
Pound the boneless chicken breasts to an even thickness of about 1/2 inch.

Bread the Chicken
Dip each chicken breast first into the flour, then into the egg, and finally coat it with breadcrumbs. Ensure the chicken is well-coated.

Fry the Chicken
In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Once hot, add the breaded chicken cutlets. Fry for about 4-5 minutes per side or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Thinly slice the large onion.

Add Liquid
Gradually whisk in chicken broth and soy sauce, ensuring there are no lumps. Bring to a simmer and cook until thickened, about 5 minutes.

Add salt and pepper to taste. Stir well to combine.
