Method

For the Chicken Burgers

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chicken Mixture

In a large mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, BBQ sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.

  2. 2

    Form the Patties

Divide the chicken mixture into four equal portions and shape each portion into a patty, about 1 inch thick.

  3. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat and lightly brush the grates with olive oil to prevent sticking.

  4. 4

    Grill the Patties

Place the chicken patties on the grill and cook for approximately 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 75°C (165°F). In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty to melt.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Burgers

Toast the burger buns on the grill for about 1 minute. Place a grilled chicken patty on each bun, top with lettuce and tomato slices, and close the bun.

For the Side

  1. 6

    Prepare the Potatoes

Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). Wash and cut the potatoes into wedges.

  2. 7

    Season the Potatoes

In a large bowl, toss the potato wedges with olive oil, paprika, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.

  3. 8

    Bake the Potatoes

Spread the seasoned potato wedges on a baking sheet in a single layer. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
