Marinade Preparation

Prepare the Marinade
In a large bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, minced ginger, sesame oil, rice vinegar, and black pepper. Whisk until the sugar is dissolved and the ingredients are well mixed.

Marinate the Chicken
Place the chicken breasts in the marinade, ensuring they are fully submerged. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for maximum flavor.
Cooking the Chicken

Preheat the Grill
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

Grill the Chicken
Remove the chicken from the marinade, allowing excess marinade to drip off. Place the chicken on the grill and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).

Rest the Chicken
Remove the grilled chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
Serving the Dish

Prepare the Plate
On each plate, serve 1 cup of cooked rice as a base. Slice the grilled chicken and place 3 pieces on top of the rice.

Add Sides
Add steamed broccoli to the side of the chicken and rice. Sprinkle sesame seeds and chopped green onions over the chicken for garnish.
