Ramen Soup

Method

Preparing Skewers

  1. 1

    Marinating the Chicken

In a bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Add the chicken breast, cut into cubes, and let marinate for at least 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Assembling the Skewers

After marinating, thread the chicken, bell pepper (cut into squares), zucchini (sliced), and mushrooms onto skewers alternately until all ingredients are used.

  3. 3

    Grilling the Skewers

Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium heat. Grill the skewers for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until the chicken is cooked through and vegetables are tender.

Cooking Ramen Soup

  1. 4

    Preparing the Broth

In a large pot, bring chicken or vegetable broth to a simmer over medium heat.

  2. 5

    Cooking the Ramen Noodles

Add the ramen noodles to the simmering broth and cook according to package instructions (usually about 3-4 minutes).

  3. 6

    Adding Vegetables and Egg

During the last minute of cooking the noodles, add shredded cabbage and gently lower the eggs into the broth to poach them for about 5-6 minutes.

  4. 7

    Final Touches

Once the noodles are cooked and eggs are poached, remove from heat. Stir in chili paste if making a spicy soup.

Serving

  1. 8

    Plate the Dish

In large bowls, divide the ramen soup, ensuring each bowl gets a poached egg. Top with sliced kamaboko, chopped green onions, and a sprinkle of sesame seeds.

  2. 9

    Serve with Skewers

Serve the assorted skewers on the side of each bowl of ramen. Enjoy your delicious Assorted Skewer Ramen!
