Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ahi Tuna

Using a sharp knife, cut the fresh Ahi tuna into small cubes, about 1/2 inch each. Place the cubed tuna in a mixing bowl.

  2. 2

    Chop the Vegetables

Finely chop the red onion, cucumber, tomato, and jalapeño pepper. Add them to the bowl with the tuna.

  3. 3

    Chop the Cilantro

Rinse the fresh cilantro and chop it finely. Add it to the mixing bowl with the other ingredients.

Marination

  1. 4

    Mix the Marinade

In a separate bowl, combine the lime juice, lemon juice, and orange juice to create the citrus marinade.

  2. 5

    Combine Ingredients

Pour the citrus marinade over the tuna and vegetable mixture in the mixing bowl. Gently stir to ensure everything is evenly coated.

  3. 6

    Season the Ceviche

Add salt and black pepper to taste, and drizzle the olive oil over the mixture. Stir gently again to combine.

Serving

  1. 7

    Chill and Serve

Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld. Serve chilled, garnished with additional cilantro if desired.
