Method

Prepare the House Red Sauce

    Cook Garlic

    In a saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.

    Mix Sauce Ingredients

    Stir in crushed tomatoes, oregano, basil, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Bring to a simmer and cook for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Cook the Smoky Trumpet Mushrooms

    Sauté Mushrooms

    In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add sliced trumpet mushrooms, smoked paprika, and salt. Cook until mushrooms are golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.

Prepare the Green Bean Succotash

    Cook Vegetables

    In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add green beans, corn, and red bell pepper. Season with salt and black pepper, and cook until tender, about 8-10 minutes.

Make the Red Cabbage Slaw

    Combine Slaw Ingredients

    In a bowl, combine shredded red cabbage, grated carrot, apple cider vinegar, olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Toss well to mix.

Assemble the Dish

    Layer Ingredients

    In a serving dish, spread a layer of house red sauce, top with smoky trumpet mushrooms, sprinkle mozzarella cheese and pepperoni slices. Serve alongside green bean succotash and red cabbage slaw.
