Preparation of Cream Mixture

Separate the Eggs
In a mixing bowl, carefully separate the egg whites from the yolks. Place the yolks in a large bowl and the whites in another.

Make the Mascarpone Mixture
Add the granulated sugar and vanilla extract to the egg yolks. Whisk together until the mixture is pale and fluffy. Then fold in the mascarpone cheese until smooth.

Whip the Heavy Cream
In a separate bowl, use an electric mixer to whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.

Combine Mixtures
Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until fully incorporated. Be careful not to deflate the cream.

Prepare the Coffee Mixture
In a shallow dish, combine the brewed coffee and coffee liqueur. Allow to cool slightly.
Layering and Assembly

Dip Ladyfingers
Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture, ensuring they are soaked but not soggy.

Layer the Ingredients
In a rectangular dish, start by placing a layer of dipped ladyfingers at the bottom. Spread half of the mascarpone cream mixture over the ladyfingers.

Repeat Layers
Add another layer of dipped ladyfingers followed by the remaining mascarpone cream mixture.

Chill and Serve
Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight. Before serving, dust the top with cocoa powder.
