Method

Sliders

  1. 1

    Prepare the Beef Patties

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until just combined. Divide the mixture into 3 equal portions and shape each portion into a mini patty.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patties

Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the patties to the skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked through. In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of American cheese on each patty to melt.

  3. 3

    Cook the Bacon

In a separate skillet, cook the bacon slices over medium heat until crispy. Once cooked, remove from the skillet and drain on paper towels.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Sliders

On each slider bun, place a cheeseburger patty, top with a slice of crispy bacon, and finish with caramelized onions and a dollop of bacon-mayo.

Caramelized Onions

  1. 5

    Caramelize the Onions

Slice the onion thinly. In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and a teaspoon of sugar. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the onions are soft and caramelized, about 15-20 minutes.

Bacon-Mayo

  1. 6

    Make the Bacon-Mayo

In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise and finely chopped cooked bacon until well combined. Adjust seasoning as needed.
