Chicken Wings

Method

Preparing the Chicken

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. 2

    Prepare the Chicken Wings

Pat the bone-in chicken wings dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture. This helps them get crispy during baking.

  3. 3

    Season the Wings

In a large bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, and baking powder. Add the chicken wings and toss until they are well coated with the seasoning mixture.

Baking the Chicken

  1. 4

    Arrange Wings on Baking Sheet

Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil for easy clean-up and place a wire rack on top. Arrange the seasoned chicken wings in a single layer on the wire rack.

  2. 5

    Bake the Wings

Bake the wings in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.

Applying Sauce

  1. 6

    Prepare the Sauce

For Buffalo sauce: In a small bowl, mix the buffalo sauce with additional garlic powder to taste. For Asian BBQ: Mix soy sauce, honey, and garlic powder. For Garlic Parmesan: Toss wings with melted butter and Parmesan cheese. For Cajun dry rub: Toss baked wings with Cajun seasoning.

  2. 7

    Toss the Wings

Once the wings are baked, remove them from the oven and immediately toss them in the sauce of your choice until well coated.

Serving

  1. 8

    Serve Immediately

Serve the bone-in chicken wings hot, garnished with additional sauce or cheese as desired.
