Make the Dough
In a large bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy. Stir in olive oil and salt. Gradually add flour, mixing until a dough forms. Knead for 5-7 minutes until smooth. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour.

Shape the Knots
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Punch down the risen dough and turn it onto a floured surface. Roll into ropes about 10 inches long, then tie into knots. Place on a greased baking sheet.

Bake the Knots
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.

Toss the Knots
Once the knots are baked, remove from the oven and immediately toss them in the garlic sauce until well coated.
