Crispy Pork Ribs

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ribs

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Pat the pork ribs dry with paper towels and season them generously with salt and black pepper on both sides.

  2. 2

    Cook the Ribs

Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Brush the ribs lightly with olive oil. Cover the ribs tightly with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 hours.

  3. 3

    Make the Miso-Ginger Glaze

In a small bowl, mix together miso paste, grated ginger, honey, and soy sauce until smooth. Set aside.

  4. 4

    Glaze the Ribs

After 2.5 hours, remove the foil from the ribs and brush the miso-ginger glaze generously over the ribs. Increase the oven temperature to 425°F (220°C) and return the ribs to the oven without the foil.

  5. 5

    Crisp the Ribs

Bake for an additional 20-30 minutes, or until the ribs are crispy and caramelized, turning them halfway through for even cooking.
