Charred Chicken Ingredients
Method
Cooking Directions
- 1
Marinate the Chicken
In a large bowl, combine Florida orange juice, lemon juice, minced garlic, EVOO, sea salt, and black pepper. Add the chicken thighs and ensure they are well coated. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, or up to overnight for maximum flavor.
- 2
Prepare the Grill
Preheat your grill to high heat. If using charcoal, allow the coals to become white hot.
- 3
Grill the Chicken
Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the marinade. Place the chicken thighs on the grill and cook for about 6-8 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and the chicken is nicely charred.
- 4
Rest and Serve
Once cooked, remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes. Serve with your choice of base, two sides, and (un)dressing.
