Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare Marinade

In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, mirin, sake, honey, minced garlic, and grated ginger until well combined.

  2. 2

    Marinate Salmon

Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, up to 2 hours for more flavor.

  3. 3

    Preheat Grill or Oven

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, or preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

  4. 4

    Cook Salmon

Remove the salmon from the marinade and let any excess drip off. Grill the salmon skin-side down for about 6-8 minutes, or bake in the oven for 12-15 minutes, until the fish flakes easily with a fork.

  5. 5

    Garnish and Serve

Sprinkle with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving. Enjoy your delicious sake-marinated salmon!
