1. Marinate the Steak

In a bowl, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Mix well and add the ribeye steaks, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.

2. Prepare the Grill

Preheat a hibachi grill or a grill pan over medium-high heat. If using a grill pan, add a bit of oil to prevent sticking.

3. Cook the Steak

Remove the steaks from the marinade and let excess liquid drip off. Season both sides with salt and black pepper. Place the steaks on the hot grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness is reached.

4. Add Butter and Garnish

In the last minute of cooking, add butter to the grill and baste the steaks with it. Once cooked, remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for 5 minutes. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
