    Prepare the Brine

    In a medium saucepan, combine the water and salt. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring until the salt is completely dissolved. Remove from heat and let it cool to room temperature.

    Gently rinse the salmon roe under cold running water to remove any impurities.
