Method
Burger Directions
- 1
Prepare the Burger Patties
In a mixing bowl, take the ground beef and season it with salt and pepper. Form the beef into two equal-sized patties.
- 2
Cook the Bacon
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the smoked bacon strips until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- 3
Cook the Patties
In the same skillet with the bacon drippings, cook the burger patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired doneness.
- 4
Add Cheese
In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and cover the skillet to allow the cheese to melt.
- 5
Assemble the Burgers
On the bottom half of each pretzel bun, layer the lettuce, a burger patty, crispy bacon, a slice of red onion, and tomato. Top with the other half of the bun.
Pommel Frites Directions

- 7

In a deep frying pan or pot, heat the vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C).
- 8
Fry the Potatoes
Carefully add the potato strips to the hot oil in batches, frying for about 4-5 minutes until golden brown and crispy. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
- 9
Season the Frites
Sprinkle the hot fries with salt to taste.
