Method

Burger Preparation

  1. 1

    Cook the Pork Belly

In a skillet over medium heat, add the pork belly and cook until crispy and cooked through, about 10-15 minutes. Once cooked, drizzle with 1 tablespoon of maple syrup and toss to coat. Remove from skillet and set aside.

  2. 2

    Caramelize the Onions

In the same skillet, add thinly sliced onion and cook over low heat until golden brown, stirring occasionally, about 15-20 minutes.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Burger Patties

In a bowl, combine ground beef, salt, and pepper. Form into two burger patties.

  4. 4

    Cook the Burger Patties

In the skillet over medium-high heat, add the burger patties and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, adding a slice of cheddar cheese on top during the last minute of cooking to melt.

  5. 5

    Fry the Egg

In a separate small skillet, fry the farm egg to your desired doneness.

  6. 6

    Assemble the Burger

On the bottom half of each bun, layer the burger patty, caramelized onions, maple-glazed pork belly, and fried egg. Drizzle with remaining maple syrup before placing the top half of the bun.

Sweet Potato Fries Preparation

  1. 7

    Prepare the Sweet Potatoes

Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Peel and cut sweet potatoes into fries.

  2. 8

    Season the Fries

In a bowl, toss sweet potato fries with olive oil, salt, and paprika.

  3. 9

    Bake the Fries

Spread the fries in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy.

Smoked Pineapple Dipping Sauce Preparation

  1. 10

    Make the Dipping Sauce

In a blender, combine pineapple chunks, smoked paprika, honey, and lime juice. Blend until smooth. Adjust seasoning and sweetness to taste.
