Prepare the Glass
Select a whiskey glass or an old-fashioned glass and set it on your countertop.

Add Ice
Place 3 ice cubes into the glass, allowing them to chill the drink as you prepare it.

Measure the Bourbon
Using a jigger, pour 2 oz of Basil Hayden's Bourbon over the ice cubes in the glass.

Add Bitters
Add 2 dashes of Angostura Bitters on top of the bourbon to enhance the flavor.

Garnish with Orange Peel
Take a slice of orange peel and twist it over the glass to release the oils, then drop it into the drink.

Add Cherry
Finally, add a Luxardo cherry to the glass for an extra touch of sweetness and garnish.

Stir gently with a cocktail stirrer or spoon to combine the ingredients, then enjoy your Basil Hayden's neat or on the rocks.
