Prepare the Ragu
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion, carrot, and celery, and sauté until softened, about 5 minutes.

Brown the Meat
Add the ground beef and pork to the skillet. Cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon, about 7-10 minutes.

Add Tomatoes and Simmer
Add the crushed San Marzano tomatoes, salt, and pepper. Reduce the heat to low and let the sauce simmer for 30-40 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Cook the Pasta
While the sauce simmers, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the tagliatelle and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain the pasta.

Combine Pasta and Sauce
Toss the cooked tagliatelle with the Bolognese sauce until well coated.

Serve
Plate the tagliatelle Bolognese and sprinkle with grated Parmigiano-Reggiano and fresh basil before serving.
