Cocktail Preparation

Prepare the Glass
Chill a cocktail glass by filling it with ice water and setting it aside while you prepare the drink.

Mix the Ingredients
In a mixing glass, combine the Rittenhouse bonded rye, Del Maguey Vida mezcal, Amaro Montenegro, and Angostura bitters.

Stir
Fill the mixing glass with ice and stir the mixture for about 30 seconds until well chilled.

Strain and Serve
Empty the ice water from the chilled cocktail glass. Strain the mixture into the glass.

Garnish
Express the oils from an orange twist over the drink and add it as a garnish.
