Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Pinsa Dough

If using store-bought dough, skip to step 2. For house-made dough, mix flour, water, salt, and yeast. Knead and let rise for 1-2 hours.

  2. 2

    Cook the Sausage

In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and cook the house-made beef and pork sausage until browned. Break it into small pieces as it cooks.

  3. 3

    Sauté the Mushrooms

In the same skillet, add minced garlic and cremini mushrooms. Sauté until the mushrooms are tender and have released their moisture. Season with salt and black pepper.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Pinsa

Preheat the oven to 250°C (482°F). Roll out the pinsa dough on a baking sheet. Spread the sausage and sautéed mushrooms evenly over the dough. Top with mozzarella cheese.

  5. 5

    Bake the Pinsa

Place the assembled pinsa in the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.

  6. 6

    Garnish and Serve

Remove the pinsa from the oven, sprinkle with fresh parsley, slice, and serve hot.
