Turkey Burger Patty

Toppings

Method

Prepare Turkey Patties

  1. 1

    Mix the Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well using your hands or a spatula until evenly combined.

  2. 2

    Form Patties

Divide the mixture into two equal portions and form each portion into a patty, about 3/4 inch thick.

Cook the Patties

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Brush the grill grates with olive oil to prevent sticking.

  2. 4

    Grill the Patties

Place the turkey patties on the grill. Cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).

  3. 5

    Add Cheese

In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of American cheese on each patty and close the grill lid to melt the cheese.

Assemble the Burger

  1. 6

    Prepare the Buns

Lightly toast the burger buns on the grill for about 1-2 minutes until golden brown.

  2. 7

    Add Toppings

Spread 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise on the bottom half of each bun. Place a lettuce leaf on the mayo, followed by the grilled turkey patty with melted cheese, and top with sliced tomato.

  3. 8

    Complete the Burger

Place the top half of the bun on the assembled burger. Serve immediately with your favorite side dish.
