Dill Pickle Chips

Method

Wangs (Buffalo Chicken Wings)

  1. 1

    Prepare the Wings

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Rinse and pat dry the chicken wings, then place them in a large bowl.

  2. 2

    Make the Sauce

In a small saucepan over low heat, combine hot sauce, butter, garlic powder, and salt. Stir until the butter is melted and the mixture is well blended.

  3. 3

    Coat the Wings

Pour the sauce over the wings, tossing to ensure they are evenly coated.

  4. 4

    Bake

Spread the wings on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through until crispy.

Blankenshrooms (Stuffed Mushrooms)

  1. 5

    Prepare the Mushrooms

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Clean the mushrooms and remove the stems.

  2. 6

    Make the Filling

In a bowl, mix cream cheese, shredded mozzarella, Italian seasoning, and bread crumbs until well combined.

  3. 7

    Stuff the Mushrooms

Fill each mushroom cap with the cheese mixture. Drizzle with olive oil.

  4. 8

    Bake

Place stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden.

Dill Pickle Chips

  1. 9

    Prepare the Batter

In a bowl, combine flour, cornmeal, and salt. In another bowl, beat the egg and mix with buttermilk.

  2. 10

    Coat the Pickles

Dip each dill pickle chip into the egg mixture, then coat with the flour mixture.

  3. 11

    Fry the Chips

Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Fry the coated pickle chips for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.

  4. 12

    Drain and Serve

Remove from oil and place on paper towels to drain excess oil. Serve hot.
