Method

Prepare the Comeback Sauce

  1. 1

    Mix the Sauce Ingredients

In a medium bowl, combine mayonnaise, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt. Mix well until smooth and consistent.

  2. 2

    Refrigerate Sauce

Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate the sauce for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors meld.

Prepare the Mahi Mahi

  1. 3

    Preheat the Pan

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil to the pan.

  2. 4

    Season the Fish

Pat the Mahi Mahi fillets dry with a paper towel. Generously coat both sides of each fillet with blackening seasoning.

  3. 5

    Cook the Fish

Once the oil is hot, carefully place the seasoned Mahi Mahi fillets in the skillet. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the fish is cooked through and has a nice blackened crust.

Assemble the Dish

  1. 6

    Prepare the Base

On each plate, place a generous handful of lettuce as the base.

  2. 7

    Add the Fish

Place a blackened Mahi Mahi fillet on top of the lettuce.

  3. 8

    Top with Tomato

Add tomato slices on top of the Mahi Mahi.

  4. 9

    Drizzle with Comeback Sauce

Drizzle the prepared Comeback sauce over the fish and toppings.
