Method

Burgers

  1. 1

    Prepare the Patty Mixture

In a large bowl, combine ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix thoroughly using your hands.

  2. 2

    Form the Patties

Divide the mixture into 6 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty, about ¾ inch thick.

  3. 3

    Cook the Patties

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for 4-5 minutes on each side until they reach your desired doneness.

  4. 4

    Melt the Cheese

In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheese on each patty and cover with a lid to melt the cheese.

  5. 5

    Prepare the Buns

Toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster until lightly golden.

  6. 6

    Assemble the Burgers

Place each patty on a bun and top with pickles, onions, lettuce, tomato, and condiments as desired.

Tenders

  1. 7

    Prepare the Breading Stations

Set up three bowls: one with flour seasoned with salt, pepper, and garlic powder; one with beaten eggs; and one with breadcrumbs.

  2. 8

    Bread the Tenders

Dip each chicken tender first in the flour, then in the egg, and finally in the breadcrumbs, ensuring they are fully coated.

  3. 9

    Heat the Oil

In a large pot or deep fryer, heat the oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

  4. 10

    Fry the Tenders

Carefully add the breaded chicken tenders to the hot oil in batches. Fry for 4-5 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.

  5. 11

    Drain the Tenders

Remove the cooked tenders and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

  6. 12

    Serve with Sauce

Serve the tenders hot with your choice of dipping sauce.
