Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Meat

Cut the chicken breast or beef into thin strips and marinate with 2 tablespoons of soy sauce for 15 minutes.

  2. 2

    Chop the Vegetables

While the meat is marinating, chop the garlic, bell pepper, and onion into bite-size pieces.

  3. 3

    Prepare Baby Corn

If using whole baby corns, rinse them under cold water and drain.

Cooking

  1. 4

    Heat the Oil

In a large skillet or wok, heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil over medium-high heat.

  2. 5

    Stir-Fry the Meat

Add the marinated meat to the skillet, and stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes or until cooked through.

  3. 6

Add the baby corn to the skillet. Pour in 3 tablespoons of light soy sauce and stir to combine. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.

  5. 8

    Season and Serve

Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Serve hot with steamed rice or noodles.
