    Mix Ingredients

    In a small bowl, combine ketchup, horseradish, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper. Stir well until all ingredients are fully blended. Adjust seasoning to taste.

Shrimp Preparation

    Prepare Boiling Liquid

    In a large pot, bring 4 quarts of water to a boil. Add Old Bay seasoning, lemon halves, and bay leaves to the boiling water.

    Cook Shrimp

    Add the peeled and deveined shrimp to the boiling water. Cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the shrimp turn pink and opaque. Do not overcook.

    Cool Shrimp

    Remove the shrimp from the pot and transfer them to a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process. Let them cool for about 5 minutes.

    Drain Shrimp

    Once cooled, drain the shrimp and pat them dry with paper towels.

Serving

    Arrange the cooled shrimp on a serving platter. Serve with the cocktail sauce on the side.
