    Prepare Vegetables

    Finely chop the onion and red bell pepper. Mince the garlic and dice the potato into small cubes.

    In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula.

Cooking Picadillo

    Combine Ingredients

    Once the beef is browned, add the chopped onion, red bell pepper, minced garlic, and diced potato to the skillet. Stir well.

    Stir in the tomato sauce, soy sauce, bay leaves, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Mix until all ingredients are evenly coated.
