Deviled Eggs Ingredients

Method

Deviled Eggs Directions

  1. 1

    Boil the Eggs

Place the eggs in a pot and cover them with cold water by about an inch. Bring the water to a boil over medium-high heat. Once boiling, cover the pot, turn off the heat, and let the eggs sit for 12-15 minutes.

  2. 2

    Cool the Eggs

After the time is up, transfer the eggs to a bowl of ice water to cool for about 5-10 minutes. This makes them easier to peel.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Filling

Once cooled, peel the eggs and slice them in half lengthwise. Carefully remove the yolks and place them in a mixing bowl. Add mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, white vinegar, salt, and black pepper to the yolks.

  4. 4

    Mix the Filling

Mash the yolk mixture with a fork until smooth and creamy. Adjust seasoning to taste, adding more salt, pepper, or mustard as desired.

  5. 5

    Fill the Egg Whites

Using a spoon or a piping bag, fill the egg white halves with the yolk mixture until they are heaping.

  6. 6

    Garnish

Sprinkle paprika over the filled eggs and top with chopped fresh chives or parsley for garnish.

  7. 7

    Serve

Arrange the deviled eggs on a platter and serve chilled. Enjoy!
