Prepare Matcha-Misu Base

Mix Mascarpone and Matcha
In a mixing bowl, combine the mascarpone cheese, matcha powder, and powdered sugar. Mix until smooth and well combined.

Whip Heavy Cream
In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the matcha mixture until fully incorporated.
Prepare Coffee Mixture

Combine Coffee Ingredients
In a shallow dish, combine the brewed coffee and coffee liqueur (if using). Mix well.
Assemble Matcha-Misu

Dip Ladyfingers
Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture, ensuring they are soaked but not soggy.

Layer Ingredients
In a serving dish, layer half of the dipped ladyfingers, followed by half of the matcha-mascarpone mixture. Repeat with the remaining ladyfingers and finish with the remaining matcha mixture.

Add Chocolate Chips
Sprinkle chocolate chips on top of the final layer.
Chill and Serve

Cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.
