Method

Prepare the Salmon

  1. 1

    Marinate the Salmon

In a bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Add salmon fillets and marinate for at least 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Cook the Salmon

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium heat. Cook the marinated salmon for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until cooked through.

Make the Fried Rice Cake

  1. 3

    Combine Ingredients

In a bowl, mix cooked rice, beaten egg, chopped green onion, and salt until well combined.

  2. 4

    Fry the Cakes

Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Form rice mixture into patties and fry until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.

Prepare Spicy Mayo

  1. 5

    Mix Spicy Mayo

In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, sriracha sauce, and lemon juice. Stir until smooth.

Prepare Edamame

  1. 6

    Cook Edamame

Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add edamame pods and cook for 3-5 minutes until tender. Drain and sprinkle with salt.

Assembly

  1. 7

    Plate the Dish

Place a fried rice cake on each plate, top with salmon, and drizzle with spicy mayo. Serve alongside edamame.
