Method

Preparation of Eggs

  1. 1

    Boil the Eggs

Place the large eggs in a saucepan and cover them with cold water, about an inch above the eggs. Bring the water to a boil over medium-high heat.

  2. 2

    Simmer and Cool

Once boiling, cover the saucepan and remove it from heat. Let it sit for 12 minutes. After 12 minutes, transfer the eggs to an ice bath and cool for at least 5 minutes.

Mixing the Filling

  1. 3

    Peel the Eggs

Carefully peel the cooled eggs under running water to remove the shells easily.

  2. 4

    Prepare the Filling

Slice each egg in half lengthwise and remove the yolks. In a mixing bowl, mash the yolks with a fork. Add the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, white vinegar, salt, and black pepper, mixing well until smooth.

Assembling the Deviled Eggs

  1. 5

    Fill the Egg Whites

Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg white halves.

  2. 6

    Add the Twist

Sprinkle the tops of the filled eggs with fresh dill, smoked paprika, and crushed red pepper flakes according to your taste.
