Prepare the Patty
- 1
Mix the Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.
- 2
Form the Patties
Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape each portion into a patty about 3/4 inch thick. Make a slight indent in the center of each patty with your thumb to prevent it from puffing up while cooking.
