Method
Pasta Preparation
- 1
Cook the Fettuccine
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes. Drain the pasta and set aside.
Chicken Preparation
- 2
Grill the Chicken
While the pasta is cooking, heat olive oil in a grill pan over medium-high heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper. Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked and juices run clear. Remove from heat and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing into strips.
Alfredo Sauce Preparation
- 3
Make the Alfredo Sauce
In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Gradually whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is smooth. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Remove from heat.
Combining Ingredients
- 4
Combine Pasta and Sauce
In a large mixing bowl, combine the drained fettuccine pasta with the Alfredo sauce. Toss gently to coat the pasta evenly with the sauce.
- 5
Serve
Plate the pasta and top with sliced grilled chicken. Garnish with chopped parsley. Serve immediately.
