Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Candied Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until it starts to brown. Add brown sugar and cook until the bacon is crispy and caramelized. Remove from heat and let cool on a paper towel.

  2. 2

    Fry the Eggs

In the same skillet, add a little butter if needed. Crack the eggs into the skillet and cook over medium heat until the whites are set and the yolks are cooked to your liking. Season with salt and pepper.

  3. 3

    Toast the Bread

While the eggs are cooking, toast the Hawaiian bread slices until golden brown.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Sandwich

Spread blackberry jam on one side of each toasted bread slice. Layer with crispy bacon, fried eggs, avocado slices, and white cheddar cheese. Top with another slice of toasted bread.

  5. 5

    Serve

Cut the sandwich in half and serve with fresh fruit on the side.
