Prepare the Edamame
Rinse the fresh edamame pods under cold water to remove any dirt or debris.

Boil the Edamame
In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add the rinsed edamame pods to the boiling water and cook for about 5 minutes until tender.

Drain and Salt
Drain the edamame pods in a colander and sprinkle with sea salt while they are still warm.

Serve
Transfer the edamame to a serving bowl and enjoy while warm, squeezing the beans out of the pods with your fingers.
