1. Prepare the Patties

Season the ground beef or plant-based burger patties with salt and black pepper. Form them into two equally sized patties.

2. Cook the Patties

Grill or pan-fry the patties over medium-high heat for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked to your liking.

3. Assemble the Iceburger

Lay one large lettuce leaf down as the base. Place a cooked patty on top, followed by a slice of cheese (if using), tomato slices, pickles, onion slices, ketchup, and mustard. Top with another large lettuce leaf.

4. Serve

Cut the Iceburger in half if desired and serve immediately.
