Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Meats
Cook the ground beef, chicken, and carne adovada separately.
- 2
In a skillet over medium heat, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, about 7-10 minutes. Sprinkle with 1 tablespoon of taco seasoning and salt, and stir until well combined. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- 3
In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of olive oil. Add the chicken breast, and cook until fully cooked through, about 7-10 minutes. Season with the remaining taco seasoning, shred the chicken, and set aside.
- 4
If using pre-marinated carne adovada, cook it according to package instructions. Shred or chop the meat once it’s cooked and set aside.
- 5
Warm the Tortillas
In a dry skillet or on a griddle over medium heat, warm the soft flour tortillas for about 30 seconds on each side until pliable.
- 6
Assemble the Tacos
On each tortilla, add your choice of meat (beef, chicken, or carne adovada), and top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, cheddar cheese, a dollop of sour cream, guacamole, and salsa.
- 7
Serve immediately and enjoy your taco platter!
