Burger Ingredients

Method

Burger Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Beef Patties

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, red chile powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until just combined, then form into two patties.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patties

Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.

  3. 3

    Add Cheese

In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and cover to melt the cheese.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Buns

Toast the burger buns lightly on the grill or skillet until golden brown.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Burger

On the bottom half of each bun, layer lettuce, the cooked patty with melted cheese, tomato slices, and onion slices. Top with the other half of the bun.

  6. 6

    Serve

Serve the burgers hot with a side of fries, onion rings, or sweet potato fries.
