Cooking Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Burger Patties

In a large bowl, combine ground beef, diced green chiles, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

  2. 2

    Form the Patties

Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and form each portion into a patty.

  3. 3

    Cook the Patties

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they reach desired doneness.

  4. 4

    Add Cheese

In the last minute of cooking, place shredded cheddar cheese on top of each patty and cover until melted.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Burgers

Toast the burger buns, then layer lettuce, tomato, avocado, and the cooked patty on each bun. Top with ketchup and mustard to taste.

  6. 6

    Serve

Serve the burgers warm with a side of fries, onion rings, or sweet potato fries.
