Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Pork

Season the pork tenderloin with salt and black pepper on all sides.

  2. 2

    Sauté the Pork

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned pork tenderloin and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until the pork is browned and cooked through. Remove the pork from the skillet and set it aside to rest.

  3. 3

    Make the Sage-Cider Sauce

In the same skillet, add the fresh sage leaves and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Pour in the apple cider and bring to a simmer, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet. Cook for about 5 minutes, allowing the sauce to reduce slightly.

  4. 4

    Finish the Sauce

Stir in the butter until melted and the sauce is smooth. Season with additional salt and pepper to taste.

  5. 5

    Serve

Slice the pork tenderloin and arrange on plates. Drizzle the sage-cider sauce over the pork and serve immediately.
