Method

Prepare the Broth

  1. 1

    Make the Miso Broth

In a large pot, combine water, miso paste, soy sauce, sesame oil, grated ginger, minced garlic, and red pepper flakes. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally until the miso is fully dissolved.

Cook the Pork

  1. 2

    Brown the Ground Pork

In a skillet over medium heat, add the ground pork and cook until browned and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.

Cook the Noodles

  1. 3

    Prepare Ramen Noodles

In a separate pot, bring water to a boil and cook the fresh ramen noodles according to package instructions, usually about 3-4 minutes. Drain and set aside.

Assemble the Ramen

  1. 4

    Combine and Serve

In bowls, add a serving of the cooked ramen noodles. Pour the hot miso broth over the noodles, then top with ground pork, sliced green onions, soft boiled eggs, and a drizzle of chili oil. Serve immediately.
