Preparation of Croutons

Prepare the Dough
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Roll out the Detroit-style pizza dough into a 1-inch thick rectangle.

Cut into Croutons
Cut the rolled-out dough into small squares, about 1 inch each.

Season the Croutons
In a large mixing bowl, toss the dough squares with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.

Bake the Croutons
Spread the seasoned dough squares on a baking sheet in a single layer. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through.

Combine Ingredients
In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, anchovy paste, and minced garlic until smooth.

Add salt and black pepper to taste. Adjust seasoning as needed.

Wash and chop the romaine lettuce into bite-sized pieces.
